The Founding
In 2024, a group of Pennsylvania masters racers sat around a table after a race and asked a simple question: what if our racing could do more than fill a weekend?
They were riders who had spent years on the roads of Chester County, through the forests of Michaux, past the blast furnaces of Bethlehem. They knew these roads. They knew these stories. And they knew the historic sites that lined them were fading — underfunded, overlooked, slowly weathering away.
Foundry Racing Company was the answer. A cycling promotion company and elite masters racing team built around a single mission: bridge the gap between cycling and Pennsylvania's heritage. Every charity century ride we organize routes through a historic site, and every registration fee funds its preservation.
We are not a charity that rides. We are racers who give back. The distinction matters — it is why we show up at the start line, and it is why we keep showing up.
The Mission
Foundry Racing Company exists at the intersection of three things: competitive masters cycling, historic preservation, and community.
We organize and promote road races, criteriums, and time trials across Pennsylvania — events that are safe, well-run, and fiercely competitive. We field an elite masters team that races hard and represents the state with pride.
And through our charity century rides, we direct thousands of dollars to the battlefields, forests, and industrial sites that make Pennsylvania what it is. We ride the roads. We tell the stories. We fund the future.
Fire in the mill. Speed on the road. History in every mile.
